WHAT'S THE STORY MORNING GLORY???I haven't updated my blog in such a long time, it almost feels like I'm dead. I have been going through my own personal sabbatical, working on a few business, creative and spiritual endeavors. It's an exciting time in my life, where I still feel like I can change and that is exciting. I turned 30 and most people start to get really set in their ways, that can be a good thing and a bad thing. Flux is something that is constant with life, and I've learned to relish in its chaotic nature.
~ I've started my own online t-shirt company, www.substanceshirts.com, it is still in beta, and we expect to roll it out later this summer.
~ I bought a digital SLR Camera
and I've been working hard on trying to capture my photographic skills that I've left since college. I love this camera. Having a true functional Digital SLR has allowed me to become more visually aware of random things around me, it's taught me to appreciate a lot of what we take for granted.
~ Been going to church (not really to tap myself on the back) but to honestly confront some of the spiritual blocks that I've had in my life. Breaking down those barriers has helped me become a more honest person and happier person. I think most people corrolate church with boredom, but I've been fortunate to find a community that challenges me not to just be a better person but how to better understand God's message.
